Situation:




So far the only way I’ve found to avoid this is to save the post as a draft rather than posting straight away, then go to my Tumblr dashboard to edit the post and untick Send to Twitter. The bookmarklet appears to ignore the Services setting whatever I do.
I’ve tried all the following, with no success:
In all cases—except while actually logged out of Twitter—posts get sent to Twitter. Is there any way to get the bookmarklet to respect the setting?
According to Tumblr support, the bookmarklet Advanced tab should include a checkbox for posting to Twitter, rather than appearing as it does above, so they’ve passed the bug on to their development team. Some further information if needed:

A final test. Having turned off “post to Twitter” in the previous post, I’m hoping that the Tumblr bookmarklet now follows that and doesn’t tweet it.
No such luck: the post still got tweeted.

Another test. This should get saved as a draft, then when I post it, nothing should go to Twitter.
This worked. I selected “save as draft” in the popup from the bookmarklet. “Post to Twitter” was however ticked in the draft, and had to be manually removed.

A test. This should NOT get tweeted, just saved to Tumblr.
Damn. It did get tweeted, despite that option being turned off under customize. (Post was created using the Tumblr bookmarklet.)
